1. PMB UM Mandiri Program Sarjana (S1)

Jalur ini memberikan kesempatan bagi lulusan SMA/MA/SMK/Sederajat untuk menempuh pendidikan strata satu (S1) di berbagai program studi unggulan UIN Bukittinggi.

  • Keunggulan: Seleksi dilakukan secara objektif melalui ujian tertulis mandiri yang dirancang untuk mengukur potensi akademik calon mahasiswa.

  • Status: Terbuka untuk lulusan tahun berjalan dan lulusan 3 tahun sebelumnya 

2. PMB UM Mandiri Pascasarjana (S2 & S3)

Bagi para profesional dan akademisi yang ingin melanjutkan studi ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi, PMB Pascasarjana UIN Bukittinggi menawarkan program Magister (S2) dan Doktor (S3).

  • Fokus Seleksi: Tes potensi akademik, kemampuan bahasa (Arab/Inggris), dan wawancara rencana penelitian/proposal tesis/disertasi.

  • Tujuan: Menghasilkan lulusan yang ahli di bidang keilmuan Islam integratif dan multidisipliner.

3. PMB International Admission (Mahasiswa Asing)

UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi membuka pintu bagi talenta global melalui jalur International Admission. Jalur PMB khusus ini ditujukan bagi warga negara asing (WNA) yang ingin merasakan pengalaman belajar di lingkungan kampus yang moderat dan bereputasi.

  • Kriteria: Seleksi berdasarkan kualifikasi akademik internasional, kemampuan bahasa, dan komitmen terhadap budaya akademik di Indonesia.

International Admission Program

  1. Citizenship Status
  1.  International Status: Applicants must be foreign nationals (WNA).
  2. Single Citizenship: Applicants must not hold dual citizenship (specifically, they must not hold Indonesian citizenship simultaneously).
  3. Valid Documentation: Applicants must possess a valid and legal international travel document (Passport).
  1. Educational Background
  1.   Academic Qualification: Applicants must have completed an education equivalent to Senior High School, or other upper secondary education recognized by the government of their country of origin.
  2. Official Documentation: Diplomas (certificates of graduation) and academic transcripts must be issued by a legally constituted and officially recognized educational institution.
  3. Credential Evaluation: Graduates from foreign education systems are required to undergo diploma equivalency (legalization) in accordance with the regulations set by the Ministry of Education or the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
  1. Academic Requirements
  1. Academic Excellence: Applicants must demonstrate a strong academic record, evidenced by official progress reports (GPA) or academic transcripts.
  2. Minimum Standards: Applicants must meet the minimum academic standards established by their chosen study program.
  3. Entrance Examination: Applicants must successfully pass the academic selection process administered by UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, which includes:
    • Administrative Screening: A comprehensive review of all submitted documents and credentials.Tes tertulis/tes daring
    • Written Examination / Online Assessment: An evaluation of core competencies, conducted either in person or via a digital platform.
    • Academic Interview: A formal interview to assess the candidate’s suitability, motivation, and academic potential.

  1.  Medium of Instruction: Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction, namely: Indonesian, or English (for specific study programs). Proficiency must be evidenced by: An official language proficiency certificate (e.g., BIPA, TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent), or successfully passing the language proficiency assessment administered by UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi.
  2. Indonesian Language Preparation: Candidates who are not yet proficient in Indonesian are required to enroll in a matriculation program or the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) preparatory course prior to or at the commencement of their studies.

  1. Physical and Mental Wellbeing: Applicants must be in good physical and mental health.
  2. Medical Certification: Health status must be verified by an official medical certificate issued by a recognized hospital or a certified medical institution.
  3. Communicable Diseases: Applicants must be free from communicable diseases that could hinder the learning process or impact campus community life.
  1. Applicant Age Requirements. Prospective students must meet the age criteria established for the undergraduate level. Applicants should ideally be within the productive academic age range, typically not exceeding 25 years of age at the time of application (unless otherwise specified for specific scholarship or self-funded tracks).
  1. Commitment to Academic and Islamic Regulations
  1. Adherence to Institutional Values: Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to upholding the academic standards and Islamic values of the university.
  2. Compliance with Regulations: Students are required to comply with all university statutes, codes of conduct, and internal regulations throughout their period of study.
  3. Respect for Cultural Norms: Applicants are expected to respect the moderate Islamic environment and the local cultural norms practiced at UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi.
  1. Administrative Documentation

 International applicants are required to prepare and submit the following documents:

  • Valid Passport: A clear scan of the identification page (must be valid for the duration of the study period).

  • Immigration Documents: Valid documentation in accordance with Indonesian regulations, including a Study Visa and KITAS (Limited Stay Permit), as required.
  1. Immigration Requirements
  • Visa and Residency Permits: Applicants must be willing to obtain a Study Visa (Limited Stay Visa/VITAS) and the necessary residency permits in accordance with the immigration regulations of the Republic of Indonesia. The fee for the first-year Limited Stay Visa (VITAS) is IDR 6,000,000.
  • Administrative Procedures: Applicants must complete all immigration administrative procedures under the guidance and assistance of the university.
  • Compliance with Stay Permits: Applicants must not misuse their residency permits for any purpose other than their studies throughout the duration of their enrollment.
  1. Funding and Financial Arrangements
  1. Financial Guarantee: Applicants must provide proof of a reliable financial guarantee to cover tuition fees and living expenses for the entire duration of their studies in Indonesia.
  2. Funding Sources: Financial support may be derived from the following sources: Self-Funding: Personal or family-funded financial arrangements. Scholarships: Financial aid provided by government bodies, international organizations, or official university partners.
  3. Financial Commitment: Applicants must state their commitment and ability to pay the tuition fees under Category 4 (Grade 4) of the Integrated Tuition Fee (UKT) at UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi.

  4. Boarding and Living Expenses: Applicants must state their commitment to covering the Living Costs associated with residency at the Ma’had (Student Dormitory) of UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi.

  • Biaya ujian sebesar Rp 250.000,- (Dua Ratus Lima Puluh Ribu Rupiah) untuk 2 pilihan program studi
  • Biaya ujian sebesar Rp 300.000,- (Tiga Ratus Ribu Rupiah) untuk 3 pilihan program studi

PROGRAM  MAGISTER (S2)

Biaya ujian sebesar Rp 375.000,- (Tiga Ratus Tujuh Puluh Lima Ribu Rupiah)

PROGRAM DOKTOR (S3)
