Bukittinggi, Wednesday, June 26, 2024 – The implementation of the Electronic Selection System (SSE) for the State Islamic Religious Higher Education Entrance Exam (UMPTKIN) at the State Islamic University (UIN) Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi concluded today in the eighth session. This exam is a crucial stage for prospective students who wish to continue their education at state Islamic religious universities.

By the final day, 966 participants attended out of a total of 1,058 registered for the exam at the UIN Bukittinggi campus location. Consequently, 92 participants were absent. Despite the number of absentees, the overall execution of the exam proceeded smoothly and orderly, with no significant issues.
The Rector of UIN Bukittinggi, Prof. Ridha Ahida, expressed gratitude to all the committee members, supervisors, and participants who took part in the exam. “We appreciate the hard work of everyone involved, ensuring the smooth running of the exam. For those who attended, we hope the results are satisfying and bring blessings,” he said.
The SSE UMPTKIN exam was conducted using a computer-based selection system, known as the Computer-Based Test (CBT). This system is expected to enhance transparency and accuracy in the selection process.
With the conclusion of this exam, the next steps involve the assessment process by the Central Committee and the announcement of the results.
