Bukittinggi, Monday, June 10, 2024 – Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi received a visit from Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) AR-RANIRY Banda Aceh. This visit was part of the “International Collaboration Community Service (PKM)” program involving the Postgraduate programs of UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, UIN AR-RANIRY Banda Aceh, STIT Diniyyah Putri Padang Panjang, and Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris Malaysia. The delegation from UIN AR-RANIRY Banda Aceh was led directly by the Director of the Postgraduate program, Prof. Eka Srimulyani. The group was warmly welcomed by the Director of the Postgraduate program, Prof. Silfia Hanani, along with lecturers and senior professors at the Postgraduate Classroom Building of UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. The International Collaboration Community Service (PKM) event is scheduled for June 10-11, 2024.
The theme of this International Collaboration Community Service (PKM) event is “Strengthening Postgraduate Cooperation Networks to Enhance Academic and Research Capacity of Students” and also discusses “The Concept of Integrated Education in the Digital Era and Its Influence”. The event was conducted both in person and via Zoom Meeting, involving lecturers from various universities participating in this international collaboration.
During the opening ceremony, Prof. Silfia Hanani, as the host, expressed her gratitude for the visit from the Postgraduate delegation of UIN AR-RANIRY Banda Aceh to UIN Bukittinggi. She said, “Hopefully, this International Collaboration will be a good starting point for all parties involved in the ongoing Community Service program. We hope that similar programs will continue in the future, fostering better collaboration between universities and contributing to enhancing the quality and potential of each institution,” stated Prof. Silfia.
